Zhoumi is known best as a singer of the Super Junior sub-group, Super Junior M. He did not audition for SM Entertainment directly, but instead had a video of himself singing sent in by a friend to the SM UCC Star Audition. His video won the grand prize.

          People were very harsh when it cam to the idea of adding ANOTHER two members (Henry and Zhoumi) to Super Junior, even though they were only going to be members of a sub-group. Many people protested. This made it very difficult for the two new members to gain a follwing. Zhoumi ignored hateful comments such as "Super Junior ONLY 13!" and tried to continue doing his best for his sub-group.

          Slwoly over time, true fans of Super Junior started becoming very interested in Zhoumi. He was very funny and interacted with the crowd a lot during shows. Zhoumi (and Henry) have now been accepted as part of the Super Junior family.
