Choi Siwon is known as the main visual and a singer of Super Junior. Him, along with Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Donghae are the first Korean artists to be on their own Chinses postage stamps.

          He auditioned for SM without his parents approval, since he knew they wouldn't let him. They didn't find out about the audition until they recieved a letter stating that he had been chosen to start as a trainee. Since Siwon's father was a very wealthy and religious business man, he did not approve at all. In fact, he actually refused to help Siwon through his trainee period in order for Siwon to "learn from the mistake he had made." He wanted Siwon to follow in his footsteps of business, but that wasn't what Siwon wanted to do in life.

          He trained in singing, dancing, acting, and modeling. He has since acted in several tv shows including Oh My Lady! and has also been in many other groups music videos.
