Kibum is known best as an actor and singer of Super Junior. He was born in Korea, but moved to L.A. when he was ten years old, which is where he learned english. When he returned to South Korea, he joined SM Entertainment and started training as an actor/singer and model. He appeared in many commercials and also was a runway model.

          He participated in all Super Junior's albums and songs until Sorry, Sorry, where he mysteriously disappeared. Fans watched the music video, no Kibum. Interviews? No Kibum. Variety shows? No Kibum. People started to wonder what had happened to him. Then Kibum even stopped appearing in concerts. Fans were concerned.

          Suddenly, Kibum appeared out of the blue acting in Jumujin in 2010. He stated that he was on a "short" hiatus from Super Junior in order to pursue acting.

          Now that it is 2014, Kibum has still not returned to Super Junior and fans have started to question if he ever will. He has acted in many films and dramas in Korea and China and is technically still a member. Other members still speak of him, implying that they are still in contact with Kibum, but he has not made it clear that he plans to return any time soon.
